ESPRESSO LAUNDRY welcomes you to its website. By using www.espressolaundry.co.za (“the website”) including any applications or related software to order laundry and/or dry-cleaning services and/or any other services (“the services”) you agree to these terms of use (“the terms”) in full. If you disagree with these terms of use or any part of these terms of use, you must not use our website.

ESPRESSO LAUNDRY is used at your own risk.

1. Registration and Booking

By registering and booking on the website you undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of the services will be correct. You may need to register to book the services and use its features. By booking the services you undertake that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the services at the prices stated at the website. ESPRESSO LAUNDRY shall not be obligated to provide you with the services until we have approved your booking. ESPRESSO LAUNDRY reserves the right to decline any order for any reason.

2. Payment before/on Dropoff

ESPRESSO LAUNDRY will not release any laundry unless payment is done before deliver or performed in front of the driver during the dropoff. Should you need to pay via EFT, a proof of payment will be required. The driver is not allowed to release the laundry unless a valid payment is made.

3. Minimum Order

The minimum order price is R200.

4. Cancellation 

You are able to cancel an order free of any charge before your booking has been approved. By cancelling the booking ESPRESSO LAUNDRY will not provide you any longer with the services linked to that booking. If, for any reason, you have to cancel the booking once it has been approved, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY reserves the right to charge for any additional costs (e.g. petrol and storage) if applicable.

 5. Pick Up & Drop Off

The services will be provided at the location and time you specified while placing a booking. You should be responsible for providing real and accurate pick up and drop off location and time. If, for any reason, we cannot reach you at the agreed pick up and/or drop off time and location, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY will provide you with the instructions to re-arrange the pick-up and/or drop off. In these situations, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY reserves the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred (e.g. petrol and storage) if applicable or to cancel the services.

 6. Turnaround Time

ESPRESSO LAUNDRY is able to deliver back in 24 hours most of the bookings. However, in the case that some items require any extra care (e.g. items that cannot be tumble dried and items that need special stain treatments), ESPRESSO LAUNDRY reserves its right to delay delivery up to a reasonable time. If, for this reason, we cannot deliver at the agreed drop off time, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY will contact you to re-arrange the drop-off time.

7. Stain Treatments

Some stains require special stain removal treatments. If you do not specify the need of a special stain removal treatment, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY cannot guarantee the stain will be removed completely. Special Stain removal comes at a fee of R100 due to the extra chemical and work needed.

8. Damaged Items

ESPRESSO LAUNDRY exercises utmost care in cleaning and taking care of garments entrusted to us and use such processes, which are best suited to the nature and conditions of each individual garment. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. ESPRESSO LAUNDRY cannot guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. ESPRESSO LAUNDRY will not be held responsible for any damage.

9. Lost Items

Any lost items must be reported within 3 business days. ESPRESSO LAUNDRY makes its best reasonable effort to track every item that we process and will review all lost items, nonetheless we will not be held responsible.
10. Loose Items

Although, ESPRESSO LAUNDRY tries as hard as possible to track such items, we are not responsible for loose items such as jewellery, watches, cash, detachable buttons, cufflinks, etc. We request that customers empty pockets prior to leaving items with us as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets (Lipstick, Gum, Pens, etc). Any personal property placed with ESPRESSO LAUNDRY appears to have value will be removed and stored for 30 days. If items are unclaimed after 30 days, all property will be donated to charity.
